Pegacril PC glue is a very fluid adhesive glue for gluing and joining compact polycarbonate and PVC film.
Viscosity: dynamic: 0,456 mPa.s (50 ºC)
Relative density: 0,887 (20 ºC) g / cm3
Ignition temperature: 230 ºC
Flash point: -22 ºC
Solubility: Miscible in organic solvents.
Solubility in water: Totally miscible in water.
Auto-ignition temperature: based on its structure, the product is not classified as self-igniting.
Oxidizing properties: It is not oxidizing.
Expiration: more than three years under normal conditions. The degradation of its components is very slow.
Hardening of the product by absorption, dissolution and evaporation of the treated pieces.
For gluing and joining materials such as compact polycarbonate and PVC film.
High-tech jobs in the industrial sector.
The pieces to be treated must be stress-free, thus avoiding micro-cracks due to the action of the solvent.
High resistance when the glue has evaporated and the polymer is attached to the parts.
You can also carry out previous tests for gluing with other plastic materials.
It is applied with a small bottle or syringe provided with a cannula or needle on the edges of the pieces to be joined, exerting a small pressure in the finished position.
The bonding is by evaporation of the solvent, leaving the polymer adhered to the pieces.
It is important to make previous tests before to check the behavior with the materials in the bonding.
The gluing time is a few minutes.
Recommended temperature for handling in the bonding 20-24ºC.
The pieces or edges to be glued must have perfect flatness to avoid the formation of bubbles.
It does not cover gaps completely. Do not use in condensations of moisture can whiten the paste.
Transport and mobility after gluing must take place no earlier than four hours with the pieces in the open air and without wrapping so that the solvents evaporate.
Complete evaporation of residual solvents for other uses 3 hours outdoors.
To clean greases and static charges, it is recommended to use Netacril PT.
