Zelluläres Polypropylen (PP) ist ein Polymer aus Propylenmonomer, das mechanisch widerstandsfähig und gegen viele chemische Lösungsmittel, Basen und Säuren beständig ist. Polypropylen ist ein Kunststoff, der durch Wärme geformt werden kann, d.h. es ist ein Thermoplast. Es hat ähnliche Eigenschaften wie Polyethylen (PE), jedoch mit einem hohen Erweichungspunkt.
