PEGACRIL PLUS is a one-component elastomeric adhesive cured under the effect of atmospheric or substrate moisture. It is a specialized glue for parquet, both in homes and businesses.
PEGACRIL PLUS does not contain isocyanates or silicones.
In addition, this product is certified by FCBA (French Wood and Furniture Technical Center) for wooden parquet floors made according to the NF B 54-008 standard and according to the NF P 63-202 (DTU 51.2) standard: CTBA certificate n ° 07 / CTBA -IBC / PHY / 91. Its EMICODE EC1-R classification guarantees a very low emission of VOCs or solvents (less than 500 mg / m3 measured after 10 days).
APPLICATION AREAS, BEYOND A PARQUET GLUE
PEGACRIL PLUS is a glue specialized in parquet floors and Wallguard-type coatings (even large ones), or for engineering and phenolic parquet.
It has a series of very specific characteristics:
Its adherence is excellent without primer on most substrates such as wood, water-repellent chipboard, concrete or anhydrite screeds, adhered paints, paving, stone and plastics.
The application is easy and it is not aggressive towards varnish.
PEGACRIL PLUS remains elastic after polymerization and improves the acoustic comfort of parquet and covered surfaces.
Thanks to its resistance to humidity and heat, this glue is suitable for parquet and covering in difficult environments (heated floors, bathrooms, etc.). For heated floors, it should be applied over the entire surface.
For substrate preparation and application refer to DTU 51.2 (standard NF P 63-202).
Substrates must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease, and must not under any circumstances be exposed to moisture infiltration.
Do not work at temperatures below 5 ° C or when the relative humidity exceeds 65%. If necessary, heat and ventilate the room.
The surface must be uniform with a maximum unevenness of 5 mm measured with a 2 m ruler.
The humidity level of the substrate must be less than 3% (<0,5% for anhydrite screeds).
In anhydrite screeds, a previous scraping is necessary.
On heated floors, after 2 to 3 weeks of operation, the heating must be stopped 48 hours before working. After installing, wait a minimum of 7 days before gradually turning on the heating. On difficult substrates, contact us.
It is distributed evenly on the surface to be coated with a suitable spatula. Lay the parts on the adhesive film.
Allow it to dry for at least 48 hours before sanding.
In the application of cork or fibrous substrates it is convenient to wet the back side of the lower layer with a spray of water (approximately 20 g / m2) in order to accelerate the cure of the adhesive.
Storage for a maximum of 12 months in the original hermetically closed container between 5º and 25ºC.
Approximate consumption depending on the substrate from 800 to 1200 g / m2.
Tools must be cleaned with a solution, before the adhesive has fully cured. After curing, mechanical cleaning is required.
